I couldn't find the article. Looked for it, but couldn't find it. I will make another attempt to locate it. I know that Sen. Feinstein is a U.S. Senator and, therefore, does not play a roll in the introduction of state legislation.

First, nobody has an assault weapon. That would require full auto/burst capability. You might want to educate yourself on the subject before commenting.

Second, every law abiding citizen needs whatever firepower is required to resist the armed criminals that will possess such weapons regardless of your laws. I'll ask one more time: Why would you seek to put law abiding citizens at a disadvantage when facing armed criminals?

Third, it's a Bill of Rights, not needs.

Can you name a specific election we have lost due to support for semi automatic rifles?

I can name an election YOU guys lost, actually several.

Gore lost his own state in 2000 because of it, Dems lost the congress in 1994 because of it, and I dont see the trend going away.

So far the only state that passed more gun control is NY, and that had to be done in the middle of the night, and will be sued to oblivion.

It is not just Republicans. the Senate does not have enough Dem's who will vote for her bill.
Any law abiding citizen who wants a AK 47 or AK 15 should be able to get one.The AK47 and the AK15 shoots one round at a time just like any other rifle does. They are very popular with the women of this Nation, as well as Ranchers who live near the Mexican Border.
