One Santa Clara judge has put hundreds, if not thousands of women at risk by ordering the release of the Pillowcase Rapist and settling the man in Palmdale in rented housing funded by the women and families of the women he threatens.

"Pillowcase Rapist" Ordered Released to Palmdale Area | NBC Bay Area

This is not the first time this rapist has gained the sympathy of a single judge. After raping 38 women, his release was ordered in 1979 after which he raped 15 more women.

A single judge with this much power.

This man will only be stopped by a woman with a gun, taking judicial tyranny away from the judge.

At 62 and having eaten prison food for the last 30 something years I think what is likely to stop him is any woman who can put up half a fight and a gun is in no way necessary.

Pretty pitiful sentancing to do lessthan a year for each woman raped though, kids are doing much harder time for drug offences that aren't really hurting anyone but themselves.

Or ordering this Judge to adopt this guy as his roommate.
Since they should both get locked up together anyway!

Seriously, serial killers, rapists, and sex abuse/porn addicts should be required to undergo treatment after testing to verify how much risk they pose to themselves or society, and what level of treatment is required for personal and public safety. Cancer can be diagnosed in stages, or in remission, and so can other diseases.

We can't afford to let people with AIDS run around raping and assaulting people because it is deadly. Similarly all other deadly criminal illnesses should be contained for public safety.

Since there is organized political action around changing the laws on pot and drugs, then by addressing "health and safety codes" to target ABUSE, this issue of diagnosing, screening and detaining dangerous "criminal illness" could be resolved at the same time.

Funds spent on researching "medical marijuana" should be matched with equal research into free and natural methods of treatment to provide effective cures for criminal illness. Once these methods are proven medically and made accessible as public knowledge, either the patients or their "legally responsible guardians" can choose free treatment or pay costs for detainment. The financial and legal responsibility must be passed directly to the person, or if that person is not legally competent, to the closest legally responsible family member or guardian, community organization or other legal sponsor who agrees to accept financial responsibility so it isn't dumped on the state; otherwise, in govt hands, these problems fund an unchecked bureaucracy of warehousing people and making money for pharmaceuticals keeping them drugged up instead of treating and curing their illness.

There must be accountability or nothing is done. Too much money and political careers are made from passing the buck and keeping the problems escalating at taxpayer expense.

Clearly we need criminal justice reform by state, and this is the issue the Democrat Party should have taken on instead of, or at the same time as health care. Criminal justice reform is inherent in immigration reform also. Nobody wants to address this, it's easier to go after simpler issues, but prison and justice reform is the key to solving major problems with backlog and bureaucracy eating up taxes and govt budgets where more debts and costs are charged to taxpayers instead of stopping the losses from waste and abuse.

When parties quit fighting over the side issues, maybe we'll address the real problems underneath backlogging the whole system and passing costs to the taxpayers. We could use those same public resources to pay for medical programs and health care that we are wasting on failed prisons and mental health systems that fund govt jobs and contracts warehousing people, keeping them medicated, and charging more and more to the public to pay the cost and consequences of crime in an endless cycle of govt waste and debts.
