It reminds people of what Republicans used to be like 50 or more years ago

As you know, nothing has changed today. Republicans and Conservatives have always viewed blacks and all other minorities as being equal.

Democrats, on the other hand, pigeon hole every minority and view them as being inferior and being victims and desperately in need of getting help not available to everyone. Really shameful.
You can tell by how many black people Republicans elect

Tim Scott, Mia Love, Alan West, Condy Rice, Herman Cain, Yep, all old white people.

We've had budget surpluses. Budgets are annual.

We've never had a budget surplus either. You and the rest, are including revenues for Social Security and Medicare. The debt increased each and every year. Do you really call that a "surplus"?

That off-budget issues may have increased the national debt in any given year does not mean that a budget surplus can never have occurred.

when the government spends more than it takes in its called deficit spending. The shortfall is made up by: borrowing or printing more money. It doesn't matter if the overspending is in the budget or not, the end result is ever increasing national debt. Your hero Obama added more to our debt than all previous presidents combined.

Bubba and Newt did as good as any recent president and congress, but they did not create a surplus.

to libtardians a smaller deficit equals a surplus. Face it, they are stupid and they lie.
You are the guys who keep slashing taxes without cutting spending

who ever said that? Not me, not Trump. We have to do both.

An annual budget surplus occurs when budget revenues exceed budget expenditures. Clinton saw that several times.

budget surplus is meaningless. Actual spending versus actual revenue is the only measure that matters. Clinton's (and Newt's) budget surpluses did not reduce the debt, the debt increased in all of those years. No where near as much as during the Obama years, but increases nevertheless.

That's it for Republicans........and Condey Rice and Herman Cain were not elected
You have three Republican blacks in Congress.......just THREE

Republicans have only elected eight blacks to higher office in the last 100 YEARS

As I understand it, it increases in some areas and cuts in others, but is a net spending reduction due to increased revenue projections.

Whatever it is it is better than what we got from obozo who did not even have a budget most of his 8 years.

Then of course few remember, or want to remember, one of the reasons Obama's deficits were where they were:

Obama Bans Gimmicks, and Deficit Will Rise

Oh yes.....the fantasy....."revenue projections"

A variation on the Republican myth that all tax cuts pay for themselves

geez, give it a rest from the dem/lib talking points and bullshit. Obabble did not ban budget gimmicks, he created new ones.

Bottom line, Obama added more to the national debt than all previous presidents COMBINED

just under 20 trillion dollars. Total debt held by the public is the total of mortgages, car loans, credit card balances, etc. It has nothing to do with the national debt. The national debt is what the country owes to bondholders who are financing the debt. Much of that bond debt is held by China.

same projections used by Obama and Clinton and Bush and Reagan and Truman and Eisenhower and Kennedy.

Were they always fantasy, or only under republican presidents?

Now, shall we discuss how Obama doubled our national debt in 8 years and added more than all previous presidents combined???? Hmmmmm, want to talk about that?

No, they are not the same

They are grossly inflated wish and hope projections based on economic surges that never materialize

Accusing me of talking points is like accusing me of playing the race card.
