First of all.... Meryl Streep is freaky good playing Margaret Thatcher.
This movie is from 7 years ago, I had not heard of it before now. And wonder why, guessing because it shows her in a good light and the left entertainment was not very supportive... Rotten Tomatoes - 51% which is bullocks.
Well acted, rounded characters and presented this part of her story quite well (ageing)

3.5 stars out of 5. Won't blow your mind, but worth the watch.

And BTW - it is sad that someone like Thatcher couldn't get elected to be a street sweeper in today's needy culture.

Imagine comparing her with Hillary Clinton.
Could there be two more opposite women?
One put country first infallibly. The other party and career first.
One fought corruption and good ol' boyism to the death, the other created corruption and followed her throughout her life.
One fought against an overwhelming establishment to create change, the other was the establishment to maintain status quo.
One had unwavering principles and stubbornly refused to bend against doing what she believed was right, the other only had one principle and that was to bend every rule as far as you could push it to gain power.

How we need someone like her now.
