I remember a few years back when they tried to get Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn out of public schools because of their use of the n word.

I thought it was stupid then, I think it's stupid now. Why? Because instead of erasing what happened and how people acted and talked back then, we need to remember it so that we don't repeat it.

But then again, I've never been much for political correctness.
