Oh How The Mighty Fiscal Conservatives Have Fallen

In his latest effort to plug the fiscal hole created by his mega-tax-cutting debacle Kansas Governor Sam Brownback has been reduced to drawing down Obamacare funds to balance his state's budget.

President Obama (praise be unto Him!) will save you, Sam!

The TPM is not synonymous with fiscal conservative.
TPM?

Tea Party Movement?

Talking Points Memo (the link source)?
tea party.
Well, then, you're wrong.

The Tea (Astroturf) movement was started exclusively over fiscal conservatism. They professed to have no interest in social issues, just fiscal issues like the debt and taxes.

Doesn't TEA supposedly stand for Taxed Enough Already?

Or is that just another of their lies?

America needs the input of fiscal conservatives. What we should actually be rejoicing in is how far social conservatives have fallen.
They have?

More restrictions on abortion were passed between 2011 and 2013 than in the entire preceding decade, according to the Guttmacher Institute. And 2014 is keeping up with that trend.

Abortion is a terrible thing. Just because republicans are going about stopping it the wrong way doesn't mean democrats should go about craving for it.

This is your response to being proven factually wrong?

Yes. The religious right is mostly a joke now. It might be shocking to you that abortion is non-partisan; but the definitive losses of homophobes and embarrassing creationists in the last few years are obvious reflections of the dire state of the social conservative movement.

OMG! The sky is going to fall! A GOP governor is trying to balance the budget!
Using ObamaCare funds.

You should thank President Obama (praise be unto Him!)
Thanks, Obama.
Thanks for the shittiest worst social program ever rammed through Congress using lies deceit and fraud that has barely passed Constitutional muster before and will probably fail the next time. Thanks for a program that is both expensive and counter productive.
But best of all, thanks for a law that has cost 30 Democrat Senators their seats and control of the House.
