Der Spiegel 1974 – New Ice Age Approaching. Odds Of A Warm Future “At Best 1 in 10,000″

Hey West, Revere et. al............check this link out..........A MUST READ
This is the greatest slam dunk Ive ever seen on the global warming fools..........

Apparently, there are other articles from this time period, all calling for the new ice age. Shows climate science for what it is, theories, computer models and guesswork.

Along with that, just google ‘medieval warming period’, and you see the huge chink in their armor – they can’t explain it away, why England’s population didn’t build fireplaces in their homes for up to 200 years, b/c it was so warm, even in winter - can’t be attributed to humans/CO2, etc, so they ignore it. That was seen in the East Anglia University e-mail hacks from late 2009. There’s tons of info out there on scientists who left the IPCC, and once retired, did a 180 and said that it’s all crap. It’s only when they are getting paid, or need to keep their careers, that they espouse this new religion.

WHen I finished this, I laughed my balls off. More than anything else Ive read, I am committing it to memory for every time I bump into some nutball who has bought into the scam.................

    Enjoy................:rock::rock::rock:

So, a news paper article from 1974 made this claim.

Did scientists predict an impending ice age in the 1970s?

The fact is that around 1970 there were 6 times as many scientists predicting a warming rather than a cooling planet. Today, with 30+years more data to analyse, we've reached a clear scientific consensus: 97% of working climate scientists agree with the view that human beings are causing global warming.

    From the article..................

In the 1974 report, Der Spiegel wrote about the warming period of 1890 – 1945. Recall how many of today’s scientists are claiming that the recent rise in temps over the last 50 years is “unprecedented”. Der Spiegel, however, documents that the same happened in the early part of the 20th century:

In the time between 1890 and 1945 scientists registered a general warming of the earth’s climate. The global annual average temperature rose during this time by about 0.7°C. — in polar regions the rise was even several degrees.

    So much for unprecedented.

    Oooooooooops!!!!

People........please note that all those who consider themselves "scientifically inclined" completely IGNORE the factual data presented by Der Speigel. What do they do? Distract and point to this "consensus" bullshit which we now know is based upon manipulated data.:lol::lol::lol:

More from Speigel and conveniently ignored by the k00ks................

One thing climate scientists know for sure– already very small irritations, and for that reason often they are difficult to measure, can throw the global climate out of whack. A reduction of solar radiation of one percent or an increase in the world’s average cloudiness by just 4% is enough to trigger a new ‘big ice age’.

    More brilliance from the link..................

Back in the 1970s, it was common practice to seed clouds as a way of manipulating local climate. Scientists discussed methods that could be used to stop the cooling. But scientists warned of unintended consequences and complex feedback systems. US climatologists William W. Kellogg and Stephan H. Schneider described a climate model back then. Der Spiegel:

Such a climate model, so explain the two US climatologists William W. Kellogg and Stephan H. Schneider, must contain all ‘climatic feedback mechanisms’ of the global weather system — a completely unmanageable chaos of feedback loops and interactions.”

    Epilogue..................

"Climate Change" is nothing more than the self serving manipulation of complex data by a few people who believe in this cult indeology. And there are plenty of people in the world just itching to latch upon things that are hysterical in nature.

Ive been saying it for over ten years..............its a fraud. The Der Spiegel historical analysis is beyond astute and the information he presents deadly to "the cause".

The European Academy of Sciences and Arts was created in 1990 in Salzburg, Austria by heart surgeon Felix Unger of Salzburg; the cardinal archbishop of Vienna, Franz König; and the political scientist and philosopher Nikolaus Lobkowicz.

The Academy currently hosts around 1,300 of Europe's top scientists and artists as members (among them fifteen Nobel laureates), who approach the questions facing Europe and the globe in various colloquia and publications.

The members of the academy are organized in seven scientific classes: I. Humanities; II. Medicine; III. Arts; IV. Natural Sciences; V. Social Sciences, Law and Economics; VI. Technical and Environmental Sciences; VII. World Religions.

[edit] Declaration on Climate ChangeIn March 2007, the European Academy of Sciences and Arts issued a formal declaration in which they stated, “Human activity is most likely responsible for climate warming. Most of the climatic warming over the last 50 years is likely to have been caused by increased concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Documented long-term climate changes include changes in Arctic temperatures and ice, widespread changes in precipitation amounts, ocean salinity, wind patterns and extreme weather including droughts, heavy precipitation, heat waves and the intensity of tropical cyclones. The above development potentially has dramatic consequences for mankind’s future. “[1] , and welcomed Live Earth and Save Our Selves initiatives, for beginning the process of mobilizing the people to take action on this matter.

[edit] American Chemical SocietyThe American Chemical Society stated:

Careful and comprehensive scientific assessments have clearly demonstrated that the Earth’s climate system is changing rapidly in response to growing atmospheric burdens of greenhouse gases and absorbing aerosol particles (IPCC, 2007). There is very little room for doubt that observed climate trends are due to human activities. The threats are serious and action is urgently needed to mitigate the risks of climate change.
The reality of global warming, its current serious and potentially disastrous impacts on Earth system properties, and the key role emissions from human activities play in driving these phenomena have been recognized by earlier versions of this ACS policy statement (ACS, 2004), by other major scientific societies, including the American Geophysical Union (AGU, 2003), the American Meteorological Society (AMS, 2007) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS, 2007), and by the U. S. National Academies and ten other leading national academies of science (NA, 2005).[33]

American Physical SocietyIn November 2007, the American Physical Society (APS) adopted an official statement on climate change:

Emissions of greenhouse gases from human activities are changing the atmosphere in ways that affect the Earth's climate. Greenhouse gases include carbon dioxide as well as methane, nitrous oxide and other gases. They are emitted from fossil fuel combustion and a range of industrial and agricultural processes.
The evidence is incontrovertible: Global warming is occurring. If no mitigating actions are taken, significant disruptions in the Earth’s physical and ecological systems, social systems, security and human health are likely to occur. We must reduce emissions of greenhouse gases beginning now.

Because the complexity of the climate makes accurate prediction difficult, the APS urges an enhanced effort to understand the effects of human activity on the Earth’s climate, and to provide the technological options for meeting the climate challenge in the near and longer terms. The APS also urges governments, universities, national laboratories and its membership to support policies and actions that will reduce the emission of greenhouse gases.[35]

IM still fucking laughing my balls off.............even back in the 70's we had this group of k00k ideologues predicting the end of times................DUE TO THE FCUKKING COLD:eek::eek:

Of course, what we've seen for the last 20 years? Clearly something totally different!!!!

Let me tell you something...........if this was the mid-1970's, Old Rocks and all the Faither k00ks would be posting up cold temperature data from "Real Scientists"!!!!!!!
