Obama's Failed Economy- Sales Crater by 11%- NRF Blames Shopping Fiasco On "Stronger Economy"

I did so well under Bush, I was able to retire at age 55!

In other words, you lost your job to and had no choice but to "retire". LMAO. Lot of people found themselves in that position. Bush lost how many millions of jobs while he was President?

Shoppers finally telling Thanksgiving sales and Black Friday to go fuck themselves

About time they stopped acting like sheep

For those who minimize a 11% decline, how would you like an 11% decline in your annual income?

I already got one of those thanks to your boy Bush...

Here's the golf course I belong to:

Las Vegas Golf - Stallion Mountain Golf Club NV

.......and I get reduced green fees, being a homeowner. Retiring is a real bitch..........
So...??I live on 43 paid acres, paid for by being self employed.I shoot golfers...

I don't think I remember a Christmas season when retailers did not post news stories about how bad sales are

Yet, more and more money is being spent

You were a mortgage broker who helped the Las Vegas area lead the nation in spec housing and default foreclosures and were smart enough to take your money and run before the collapse. Picked up a nice house in foreclosure that happened to be on a golf course.

That sound about right?

Does it really matter? No wonder what I told you, your attitude still would be 'fuck him for planning ahead'.

Actually it don't matter to me. But I was correct wasn't I?
If not, you would say that you won it big at a casino and retired. That you had a great manufacturing company that you sold for a fortune. That you smuggled pot from Mexico. etc etc.

You the one posted up how great you were in being able to retire so comfortably at 55.

Others may want to emulate your actions. But IF you won't or don't say what your job/business/luck actually was,
how can anyone learn to retire at 55 (like you did) if no one tells them how to do it?

But I am betting on Real Estate. LasVegas was a hotbed of fraudulent lending and massive numbers of foreclosures on new or nearly new homes. Entire neighborhoods went belly up. Which left a lot of real estate that could be picked up dirt cheap. And if you timed it right, you could of retired at 55. With a great home for a cheap price.

I also presume that you equate 'living off the grid' with being homeless and living under an overpass........:coffee:.

I honestly have no idea what the connection is

To a liberalbot like you, if someone is broke and can't afford to shop for the holidays, they not acting like sheep.......if someone is homeless, they're living off the grid.
Unbelievable how you interpret being broke as 'sticking it to the man'............:udaman:.

Maybe people have better things to do than to go shopping for a lot of useless crap.

There is 'no one size fits all' approach to retiring early. I worked for 40 years straight, played by the rules, and planned ahead.
