Should the president be given the powers to actually control the economy as many people believe he has? Would it require a constitutional amendment, or could Congress just pass appropriate laws? Perhaps the president could be given more power but not total power?

I always thought that the war in Iraq was at least premature. We should have waited until Hussein got his weapons cemented in with a huge arsenal. Then fought our way out the way we did in WWII.

Good thing we aren't making that same mistake with Iran.
