Seriously, it sucked balls. On the heels of Solyndra, he's still selling alternative energy as something to solve our immediate problems (basically that Big Oil is gouging us).
The only thing I liked was the talk about ending government handouts to profitible oil companies.
Everything else pretty much blew.
If he had just said "Okay, I'm opening up the floodgates. More public leases than ever. Keystone is okey dokey. The Gulf is fine." Then what bs excuse would Big Oil have to blame for gouging us?
But he didn't and he won't. Bad politics.
