Obama's blames our founding fathers--makes them the scapegoat.

Obama's been on the record more than once about how inadequate he feels our constitution is
:eusa_shhh:

Do you believe the Constitution, as originally written, was perfect?

never said it was perfect.
Just that BO thinks it's upside down

I think you've oversimplified his position on it so that it fits a nice little picture you've painted of him.

Critical thinking on an issue takes more than a sound-bite, so assuming what you think, that he thinks because of his unelaborated comments is just inane hogwash for bickering partisanship.

i.e. our Problem in Washington.

"I think the constitution says too much about what government can't do and doesn't do enough about what government should be allowed to do"

That's one helluva "soundbyte", there, my friend.....

He believes that government and, according to these recent remarks, himself isn't granted enough power to "fundamentally change" America.

I am thankful they don't have such power.

In a TODAY exclusive, Matt Lauer asked Obama about his supporters' disappointment over his first-term performance — that they believe he hasn't been "the transformational political figure they hoped you would be."

"What's frustrated people is that I have not be able to force Congress to implement every aspect of what I said in 2008," he said.

"That's just the nature of being president," he said. "It turns out that our founders designed a system that makes it more difficult to bring about change than I would like sometimes."

Obama on presidency:

The U.S. constitution--was designed to keep the Federal Government from taking over every aspect of citizens lives in this country--meaning yes it would be very hard for this socialist to navigate around it. One would think Obama being a "constitutional" scholar would know that. This comment suggests that Obama does not respect the U.S. Constitution something he swore an oath as President to defend.

Obama is the Greatest President Communist China could Ever Hope for.

He has certainly made China more attractive by comparison.

Ok?

Sit and have a chat with him about it. Maybe he could elaborate.

No need.

His actions since that statement clarifies his stance perfectly.
He thinks government should be allowed to mandate whatever program they want, regardless of enumerated powers.

Where has he ever said that?

Or do you just imagine what he thinks?

A handful of the Founding Fathers who framed the Declaration of Independence & the Consitution - Jefferson, Madison & Monroe were schooled in the Classics. They could read Latin & Greek and studied Plato, Socrates, Aristotle, as well as the Enlightenment scholars such as Locke and Smith. Ben Franklin, who was not formally schooled, none the less had a craving and inquisitive mind in both science & human affairs, which made him one of the most revered thinkers of his day.

I wonder what the idiot, present day bozos who call themselves Republicans would say about them.

" If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator."

George Bush.

What was that you CONZ were saying on your way to GIANT OOZING HYPOCRITE-TOWN again?

I don't. Nothing is perfect.

I suspect that we all have different ideas about how to make it perfect. Obama has his own ideas about how to make it perfect...like to remove all obstacles in his way.

The Constitution does not need to be perfect. It just needs to remain as the obstacle keeping would-be dictators like Obama from taking complete control of the country.

Except for repealing the 16th Amendment, there is no need to change the Constitution.

Obama proves once again that he is NOT up to the enormous task of being President Of The United States.

This carpetbagger is whining and sniveling about not getting everything he wants, despite the fact that he has the "mainstream" news media COMPLETELY in his pocket, he had a Democrat-controlled U.S. Senate and U.S. House his first two years in office, and he still has a Democrat-controlled U.S. Senate.

Let's fact it, Barack Hussein Obama is the most INEXPERIENCED, COMPLETELY INEPT, and IMMATURE President the United States has EVER had. His resume' is as thin as the edge of razor blade.

But, he WILL get re-elected in November, so those of you who understand what a DANGEROUS IDIOT Obama really is, better prepare yourselves for four more years of colossal ineptitude and the inevitable economic and social collapse coming our way.
