Farkas said they had real good intelligence on Russia, but not even enough to know that they were trying to change all our solid as gold elections?

• Obama and Hillary spied on Trump and did a massive intel gathering on him but it was all just an act of patriotism.

• Trump asked a question about Biden's sordid relationship with Ukraine and he's now a national threat to be thrown out of office?

Actually, as a direct result of the bloody 2014 coup that the Obama administration admittedly staged against the democratically elected government in Ukraine, the Crimean people held a referendum and overwhelmingly voted for independence from Ukraine. That was followed by another referendum in which the Crimean people voted to join the Russian Federation.

So calling it an "invasion" is a bit of a stretch. And it's certainly not an foreign occupation at this point. The majority of the people in Crimea are ethnically Russian and only speak Russian. What would you expect them to do after the US staged a coup to oust the democratically elected government and installed a puppet Nazi regime that was so vehemently anti-Russian that they actually outlawed the Russian language? It was certainly a no-brainer for them.

Which posits the question, was this a merely a foreign policy blunder of immense proportions by the Obama administration, or did they plan to hand the Crimean peninsula to Putin from the get go?
