ObamaCare crushing small businesses with extra money.

Some small businesses were among the most strident opponents of the Affordable Care Act, but by Wednesday, many of these businesses will have received checks totaling $321 million from their health insurance providers, courtesy of the health care overhaul that became law in 2010. The checks are rebates from insurers that did not spend at least 80 percent of the premiums they collected from small group plans on either actual health care expenses or improving the quality of health care, a provision known as the medical loss ratio rule.

Idiots

Does this mean SS checks wont go out?

Or is the treasury going to print it from thin air again?

Does anyone from the left have any common sense?

Dude what the fuck does this have to do with social security?

The government is telling a company how to run its business and what to do with its money, and we are supposed to be happy about this?

No, no, of course not. Government has no right to regulate. Only corporations are allowed to make the rules.

Does the government tell Apple what to do with the money you give to Apple when you buy their products? Does it dictate what Apple must do with at least 80 percent of that money?

Is this really a precedent you want to be overjoyed about?

A precedent? Yeah - regulating insurance - that's something new. Never been done before. Its a new precedent. Got it.

you Obamabots are hopeless

Finally you're quasi-correct...

No the people make the rules via their spending habits and who they choose to work for.

There wouldn't be a company if there wasn't a consumer and a worker and there wouldn't be a worker if there wasn't a consumer...

The federal government is absolutely useless presently... They're more occupied with controlling and dictating the US public than they are defending us.. The US government is the real threat to liberty within the United States...

But yeah you keep on smooching ass until you're enslaved not that you aren't already.

The People also make rules through this thing called "Congress". Perhaps you've heard of it?

Sorry, people have been working for far longer than they've been buying stuff.

"Conservatives" ignore present day money that small businesses are saving and instead cry and whine over "possible future" money that "might" have to be paid "someday".

I received a letter saying my insurance company also did not make the threshold and will be refunding money to our plan. I think A LOT of insurance companies didn't make the cut.

No money in the coffers...If we are sending out checks How did we get the money?

A whole 100 bucks!!!!!!!

Yeah. The right wing claimed that it was impossible for insurance companies to have a loss ratio of 80%. Now those who exceeded that target are required to make refunds - and the right wing is now complaining that insurance companies didn't miss the loss ratio by enough to satisfy them.

Make up your minds.

People work because they need stuff..........

The caveman had to work to get the meat and the cavewoman had to work to get the firewood to cook the meat - get it?

That's why people work - they need to pay their bills and need to eat...

Instead of doing favors for one another we all realized we had our own talents, so instead of doing favors for one another we devised a concept called money....

You're a fucking retard....

A) Where is this money coming from, I thought we were running a 1.5 Trillion dollar deficit.

B) Haven’t the costs of HC gone up well over 100$ since Obama passed the ACA and claimed HC costs would dramatically decrease in the first year along with creating 4 million jobs?

C) WTF is a business going to do with 100$? It will or has already cost them more than that just on their accountant due to Obamacare.

D) If this is so great why is the economy headed back into the recession that Obama saved us from like 9 times in 3 years?

E) Is this like Bush's "X-Box check" only smaller, "X-Box game check."

So much Pub dupe stupidity, fear, and obtuseness. Luckily only 30% are so brainwashed, to be charitable.

Romneycare, actually Teddycare, has already proved a huge success, with none of the BS Pub horrors. Lowest cost rises anywhere by far, Mass is booming, shytteheads, and NOT on another greedy Pub bubble- INTELLIGENCE. O-care is the same, but BETTER.

Pub dupes are functional vegatables at this point.

A) From the insurers, MORON> It's one of many cost controls in O-care- READ!

The rest is just STOOPID. We're stalled because of Pub austerity, obstruction, and fear mongering. You're a prime example. Change the channel.

Romneycare has to take about 500 million a year from the federal Government to work or it would fall on it's face and taxes would have to be raised. Obamacare will be billions in the red.

Let's see.. my health insurance premiums have risen $349.00 per month since ObamaTax was passed. Last week I received a rebate from my insurance company of $21.00. Would you care to tell me how I'm better off?

Only the stupid or democrats (redundant) would think that it's a boon to business to have someone increase your costs and then give you a small percentage back.

Of course I fear authoritarian government.....

I've read enough books to know that it would be stupid to believe the United States is immune from such tyranny....

The Jews in Germany made that fateful decision - as did many in Russia/USSR during WWII... China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia to boot just to name several cultures or nations that thought "no our government would never enslave us."

Wake the fuck up - we're not "special" - the US could easily end up like any of those nations...

When the Bill of Rights is continually questioned you know there is a possibility there for serious tyranny....

Open up your fucking eyes....
