Obama with a nine point lead on Romney

The Tin Man will fall. But don't lose faith. His wife can still stay at home with their children. It is very "dignified" for her to be at home, unlike wefare moms who should be seeking the "dignity of a job" outside the home. Gas prices have peeked and the economy is improving. BAD NEWS GOP!
I filled up for $3.77 today. A few days ago it was $3.81, and a few days before that, $3.86.

So, it went down $.09 in a week.

Wallstreet Oil Speculators are costing economy cars an extra $12 everytime they fill up and SUV's an extra $20. Romney will not do anything about this, Obama will.

Romney will give all our land to the oil companies for real cheap and let them drill baby drill and that will lower gas prices less than ten cents. And only for a short time. Come the next summer they will jack the prices back up.

And Obama wants to take away the corporate welfare that we tax payers give the oil companies. Romney wants them to stay in place. Do you think we should be subsodizing the oil companies? What ever happened to free market capitalism? Isn't that reverse socialism? Socialize the losses and privatize the profits?

(CNN) - President Barack Obama holds a nine-point lead over Republican challenger Mitt Romney thanks in part to the perception that the president is more likeable and more in touch with the problems facing women and middle class Americans, according to a new national poll.

A CNN/ORC International poll released Monday also indicates a large gender gap that benefits Obama, but the public is divided on which candidate can best jump-start the economy.

According to the poll, 52% of registered voters say if the presidential election were held today, they would vote for the president, with 43% saying they would cast a ballot for Romney, the former Massachusetts governor who is making his second bid for the White House. The poll was conducted Friday through Sunday, a few days after former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania suspended his bid for the GOP nomination. Even though former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Rep. Ron Paul of Texas continue their long-shot bids for the nomination, Romney is now generally considered the presumptive nominee.

The survey indicates women voters back Obama over Romney by 16 points (55%-39%), virtually unchanged from an 18-point advantage among women for the president in CNN polling last month.

The only "poles" that you should be concerned with are the ones you smoke at your favorite bathhouse.

Why are Republicans so obsesses with gay male sex.

Some latent tendences perhaps?

why are you so obsessed with polls?.....

CNN gave Barry only nine points? Kerry did better than that with his fraudulent exit polls that targeted the same demographics.

Just remember you and your polls thought McCain Obama was going to be close and it wasn't. Romney couldn't even beat McCain. So hows he gonna beat Obama? Because you say he's done a horrible job? Didn't you say the same thing about Clinton? So really your opinion doesn't matter unless you infect others with your lies. And no ones buying it.

Bobo....not to many folks here buy what your saying either.....except Chris....i told him you like polls.....

I guess that depends on what poll you trust. Gallup has winning over Obama.

Retail sales hit an all time record last month.

More bad news for Republicans.

All time record?

They were higher than forecast, but hardly at record levels.

I would recommend you read Blue Phantom's thread about polls.... you might learn something... probably not but it's worth a try.

LOL!

You used "Chris" and "learn" in the same sentence! That's Yahtzee!

I did offer a disclaimer in it with 'probably not'.

No one with a rational brain is taking any individual poll as evidence of anything... and April is too fucking early to be staking anything on any poll.

The last time an incumbent was losing in April Ford was president.

and this month it could be an all time low.....just like when you had an Orgasm because the Stocks were so high.....a week later they were way down....

Seems like you guys are hoping the economy tanks.

Thanks to Obama, no matter if the dow is over or under 10,000, at least it is stable again. We won't have the same crash that we had under Bush because the economy is being regulated again. As it should be. Why do you, Bush and Romney want to do away with regulations that keep the economy from tanking again?

Not like when Bush deregulated everything and Wallstreet basically gambled our 401K long term money on the stock market and lost. Those were supposed to be safe investments. And those safe investments got us 10% yearly by the way. What are you getting for your savings Harry? 1%?

I'll give you a great example of how the GOP fucked up. One of the deregulations loosened up the rules for how much money a bank has on reserve in case of an emergency. So surprise, when the market tanked, the banks didn't have any cash and then told us they were too big to fail. I say this was all planned out well before 2000 if you ask me. I thought Bush was done fucking us over in Iraq and then he pulled that bank robbery right on his way out the door. And none of you even realized it.

And that was when Bush was still in office. You guys want to forget that fact?

Do you understand the GOP's deregulations caused the economic crash? Its about as well known as Bush lied us into Iraq or that humans are causing global warming.

Are you still denying Bush's policies caused the Great Recession we went through? Come on Harry. If you can't even admit that, how can Chris or I take you seriously.

We don't want stable, we want growth.

Anyone who thinks either of these two yo-yos is "in touch" with anything to do with the "average American voter" is fucking fooling themselves...

Anyone who doesn't see that there are very clear and obvious differences between Obama and Romney or anyone in the GOP vs. Anyone in the DNC is fucking fooling themselves. Very clear difference in direction we want this country to go in.

Do teachers make a good living? Vote Democrat.

Continue to see the gap between the rich and us get bigger and bigger until it turns us all into Charles Dickens Tiny Tims? Vote Romney. If you are rich and don't care about the rabble or surfs, middle class or poor, vote GOP.

Does America start manufacturing again? Vote Democratic.

Do women have the right to choose? Vote Democratic.

Citizens United? Corporations have ultimate power with their money? Corporations are people? Vote GOP.

ALEC writing the legislation that Republicans pass into law? If you don't know what ALEC is, you need to know.

Like the Koch brothers? Vote GOP.

Think everyone but you makes too much? Vote GOP.

Like collective bargaining? Vote Democratic.

Hate pollution/global warming? Vote Democratic.

Think companies that manufacture overseas should be getting tax breaks? Vote GOP.

Like labor, the middle class and unions? Vote Democratic.

Think trickle down works? Vote GOP.

Think gays should be discriminated against? Vote GOP.

Want pre existing conditions to continue or do you want to pay an extra $800 for your birth control every year ladies and gents? Vote GOP.

Want to go to war with Iran for the rich? Vote GOP.

Vote third party, kick the two party system to the curb.

I've it before and I'll say it again...

If everyone who expressed an interest in a viable third party actually voted third party, the political landscape in this country would look much much better.

high test $5.00/ gallon here.

Wrong. We had what your way produces up until the Great Depression. Big gains and big booms and busts every decade. The New Deal and Progressive Government produced slow steady growth from after the Great Depression to the Great Recession. Bush went back to doing things they way you want and it caused the crash. How many times has the economy been bad since HW Bush? I can think of at least 4 recessions. No good. Our way is safer and everyone does well. Your way the rich get richer and the rest of us fall behind. You included dummy.

So you are correct that the rich do better your way. But you will never get the American people to go along with it again. Not at least for another couple decades until they forget, which they most surely will. Especially when the media is no longer liberal. Owned by the same Robber Baron's that fucked us over and brainwashed you into thinking liberal socialists were at fault. :cuckoo:

Why don't you just pick better candidates? Us Democrats are very happy with our President. Maybe he isn't as liberal as I would like but he's much better than Bush and Mitt is just Bush all over again.

Please tell me 3 ways Romney is different from Bush. How about 2. 1?
