Are you sure, because compared with the other things I have seen about Obama that is pretty tame racism wise. There was no war paint, him in a loin cloth, a voodoo totem, and a huge blunt there. It is hard to see pot as the racist icon it was back in the day. Ever since the hippies and then the rock and roll drug craze of the 70's and 80's when I think of weed i think of hippies and white stoners. If I want to find some good weed I don't go ask a black guy, I go find a college kid. Not even just your regular college kid, but a well off one who can afford the good shit.

In Dreams From My Father, obama recounts his mentor Frank Marshall Davis who was a well known activist communist. obama credits Davis as his role model when he decided to become a community organizer. Frank Marshall Davis was in Hawaii helping the communist party infiltrate the democratic party.

obama's early influences were communists, so it isn't surprising that he grew up to be one himself. To use the word groomed though, it's probably not enough.
