In his weekly address, Pres. Obama threatened Americans with more sequester "pain" if they don't convince Congress to pass his budget.

First, Obama exploited the sequester's effect on children, the elderly, and airline travelers:

The audacity of this man is overwhelming! He has childish hissy fits when anybody questions his actions, and then threatens? And Americans tolerate this?

And idiots like you are in denial.

We've never before had a president who actually tried to hurt citizens for political gain. Obama sure has changed DC!

Same old shit. Increase taxes and "invest" even more in social programs. In other words, more taxing and spending. Then, when it doesn't work, blame the Republicans for opposing it.

You've been around here posting trash and lies for a long time now, boedicca. You wouldn't agree with Democrats if they told you the sky is blue and not red.

Your post is once again dismissed as incredulous.

Typical Sunday rants and rage after your wingnutty Saturday night benders.

 Haters.

We need to invest more in education? really? why? so that the teachers can buy more summer homes? and so much for "Investing In Education" when the end result has been students who cant find a job, and a trillion dollars in college loan debt. and yet they hand Franklin Rains 90 Million dollars in his bailout?

Sorry, hun...I'm not a brainwashed party faithful of any political party.

You, on the other hand, think things like lower U3 unemployment caused by the lowest Labor Force Participation Rate in decades is Progress and that expanding the size of the fderal government as a percent of GDP to 25% (on borrowed money) spurs economic growth.

Now, go feed your unicorn.

You gotta hand it to them in a way. The left wing blogs were out in front of the issue with talking points issued to the radical left trying desperately to spin the layoffs of the Air Traffic Controllers into a republican conspiracy but the truth is out there and Obama can't hide it. The budget cuts were a freaking drop in the bucket but Obama and the democrats tried to bluff the republican majority in congress. When the bluff didn't work the administration did what it does best and punished Americans. At first the mainstream media supported it but they didn't have their heart in it so now they ignore it and hope it goes away but as usual the American people are smarter than they look.

Yes, indeed.

Ron Paul on the Fiscal Trick

Despite claims that the Administration and Congress saved America from the fiscal cliff with an early morning vote today, the fact is that government spending has already pushed Americans over the cliff. Only serious reductions in federal spending will stop the cliff dive from ending in a crash landing, yet the events of this past month show that most elected officials remain committed to expanding the welfare-warfare state.

While there was much hand-wringing over the “draconian” cuts that would be imposed by sequestration, in fact sequestration does not cut spending at all. Under the sequestration plan, government spending will increase by 1.6 trillion over the next eight years. Congress calls this a cut because without sequestration spending will increase by 1.7 trillion over the same time frame. Either way it is an increase in spending."

.

how about the pain in IRAN June 2009? Barry: hmm, ahh, uhm, well ah, there seems to be some violence in Iran over an election result, hmm, ahh, god, gee, I really don't know what to do, maybe we should all just wait and see how it all plays out? maybe I can send "Biden The Clown" over there to make a speech?

Slowing the rate of spending is a cut. But your intimation that by parsing the language it can be used as a scare tactic and billy club is also correct.

Democrats do that pretty much every day. Take Obama's sequester debacle. He tried to convince us that giving the FAA more money than he requested in his budget meant they had to furlough air traffic controllers.

You defend that kind of behavior and then call those who object to it "idiots."

Actually, we have. Obama is just the first one that got caught.

Idiot. This new talking point making all of this Obama's fault would be funny if congressional Republicans weren't so incompetent.
