This is America's problem.
Social Security is paid into, it's not an entitlement.
Entitlements are welfare, things like that.
I just heard about a Sargent in one of the bankrupt cities in California. His tax payer paid pension is about $300,000.00 a year. His retirement age was 51. if he lives another 30 years he cost the tax payers $9,000,000.00..... Is that fair?
If I earn the same amount as a business owner my retirement is mine and mine alone. I don't burden anyone. Since when does a cop deserve that kind of wage? Unions are not a good solution any longer. They are way to powerful and part of the agenda that will take us down if we don't vote it out.. Then there's welfare...
and the avergae wage in that city is $40,000.00 a year.. This does not make any sense at all. a lesson in the way of the unions and the Democratic party for supporting them for votes in return. People vote for this, This is insane.
