Obama has done a good job as president. The jobs and tax cut bill saved millions of jobs. The restructing of GM worked...it is now a profitable company. The bank bailout which Bush and Obama both worked on brought stability to the markets, and the vast majority of the money lent to the banks has already been repaid. Healthcare reform was long overdue and made it through Congress in spite of one of the most dishonest campaigns against it by the corporate media and the Republicans. Most of our troops have left Iraq, and our image in the world has been restored. The only thing Obama has done wrong is he has been too soft on the Republicans, the most lying, cheating, stealing, political party that only a corporate lobbyist for Haliburton could love.

I could have went on vacation and did better. Dead serious.
Obama, in his right, is one of the most successful Presidents of all time...and did this in only one half of a term. And this goes beyond the HCR act. But that is only if you measure success by getting his position realized. At that - he just might be at the very least in the top 3 since America began.

But. If you measure success by the end result.
It would have been better he did nothing. The debt is serious, the mortgage crises is absolutely still here, the financial meltdown at best was only diverted...by no means have we seen the end of the problems there.
He has done only a marginal job on addressing trade issues, that granted Bush Jr. did an abysmal job.
When you look at all of the largest problems and threats that faced America when he took office...they are all still here...despite passing so much legislation and spending so much money.
