Obama has scored well in a Reuters opinion poll, when it comes to trouncing the GOP in 2012, with the coat-tail effect then to be in play.

Obama way ahead of GOP field for 2012 election - Politics - Decision 2012 - msnbc.com

Against that, the GOP House Speaker has threatened to create a far more valueless currency, of apparent appeal to their Old, Fat, White People Base--Cavorting About Naked On Other People's Yachts, dumpting substance and other treasure into the sea.

It is not clear to anyone that anyone GOP has any concept of international banking, finance, and currency exchange. The House Budget GOP Chairman proposed Confederate Money kinds of "vouchers," to go up against an unregulated health insurance industry instead. The House Budget GOP Chairman proposed taking away principle funding for the profit-making Social Security Trust Funds, able only to guarantee Social Security private funding with no return at all--year, after year, after inflationary year!

The House Speaker has no concept of a credit card limit. Households in America actually beg for these things, so that they can juggle their accounts back into solvency in better times.

That is not what the GOP thinks of any household, In the United States.

Apparently, they are all flakes--unable to create new investments, technology, and other asset values: Forever!

(Soon, Councils on Lands of Many Nations can create Euro accounts instead, and buy gold: And then make an acceptable offer for Manhattan Island, in GOP, U. S., "acceptable" money!)

What do you mean by a more "confederate currency?" Are they planning on putting Robert E Lee on the $50 or something.

No way I would go for that. I am a big Sam Grant fan.

Proof that Republicans, Libertarians, Tea-Berserkers, The Monetarists, and the Crazies Von Mises are all out of touch with the world, with finance, with banking, and with concepts of money and credit: Is the $52.6 tril. total U. S. credit market, even now.

The $14.0 tril federal deficit is only barely 25% of it all.

    FRB: Z.1 Release--L.1--Credit Market Debt Outstanding--March 10, 2011

Even households, in the United States, know how to manage credit. When it is perceived that households cannot manage credit, the FICO scores plummet. Even S&P knows a thing or two about downgrades.

Then there is no money, even to buy thing!!

Republicans, Libertarians, Tea-Berserkers, Monetarists, and the Von Mises Crazies will have none of that(?): When actually no one at all has none of that, if anyone follows them along!

Putting Robert E. Lee on a $50.00 bill would actually make better sense than the GOP economic, fiscal, monetary, MediCare and Safety Net Plans and Proposals.

For Real Confederate money, oppoed by GOP even then: There is actually a viable market!

    Confederate Currency for sale

Putting a lot of real Confederate Money into circulation, however, would not be of much value to the U. S. economy: Which needs the Great Marxist, centralized credit market, ever expadning!

Commodity money could be horded, and spread among property-owners, way before the Patrician South was in play. Socialist, credit market money can be spread around. Others can have it.

That is not what the Party of the Old, Fat, White People--Cavorting About Naked On Other People's Yachts, dumping substance and other treasure into the sea--wants for the shops of America. Customers with pittances of valueless, currency--and even no currency at all--is Business Model clearly envisioned by GOP for America!

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Squaws being inflated, pittances to Lands of Many Nations! Many Councils buy Real Confederate Money. Make Deposits into the Manhattan Island Fund!)
