The sequester is backfiring on Obama and the Senate Democrats.
I think they understand that now.
They and the media went on a campaign of fear and doom last week and especially early this weak - the Republicans and average Americans called their bluff.
It didn't take a Harvard economist to figure out that all of these Armageddon predictions added up to way-way-way more than $90bn. It also didn't take a Harvard guy to apply basica math and see that the sequester amount is LESS THAN THE BUDGET INCREASE over 2012.
It is backfiring...and if (more like when) Obama tries to make cuts that hurt for attention - Republicans will be all over it showing specifically how that cut was not mandatory.
The sequester is believed to be the fault of Republicans to the Obamabots out there. In a few months however, even they will not be able to ignore the fact that it is no big deal.

The House has done their jobs-- repeatedly. Right now Reid is sitting on at least two different House bills but he refuses to act on them or to propose their own budget. Why do Democrats get a pass for being derelict in their duties?
