Most of the people of this country understand that George Bush tanked the economy and that Obama has made efforts to turn it around.

Why wouldn't Obama blame the GOP for the economy?

You ever hear Bush stand up and apologize to the country for fuking the economy up?

Lets face it, if UE was at 3%. you all would be bitching about something else.

And you need this bad economy to even get close in the upcoming election.

Embrace it. Celebrate it (I know you do) You caused it. It might even help you GOPers.

What happened to the Reagan/Bush recession? Are we to believe that Obama started the war on terror and drugs that has sapped money from our country while making certain people rich for years? Did Obama remove the regulations set in place after the great depression to stop companies from tanking the economy like they did after the regulations were removed? Did Obama make the american people go nuts on home purchases and run themselves into debt up to their eyeballs so that when things turned bad they couldn't handle their bills? Finally, can Obama actually pass a law on his own in regards to any of this, or does he have to wait for a legislative branch to actually put something on his desk in order to really do much?

Really, if you think Obama is the real problem of the US government and without his 3 years of presidency we would all be rich and there would be no more problems if we just elected anyone who is not Obama, you are a huge part of the problem. It's a fact that the economy was doing just fine until Nancy and Reid took over Congress in 2007, prove me otherwise if you can....

Borrow and spend enough money and you can give the illusion of anything. Ask Obama. But eventually the bills come due. Which they did. George's decisions came back to bite him (and us) in the ass. That is where George Bush got fuked. He didn't get out of town quick enough.

Just think how much better Bush would have looked if he (Bush) hadn't had to bail out the banks before he left office. Then ALL the blame could be placed on Obama.

But I agree, the economy was not awful up till late 2006. Lots of money in the system. People still drawing down equity. UE was lower at that time. The consumer still had a little money they would spend. Had not much to do with Nancy and Harry.

However, watch how fast the blame game changes sides if or when Romney steps into the Oval Office. The blame for everything that went before is a genetic condition inherited by the next President of the United States, whomever he or she may be.
