Considering this is America anything above 8% is unacceptable. It always has been.
The US has traditionally had low unemployment, which is terrific, but Americans also need to be realistic and to see he global economic context, or they will simply miss the point here.
At the moment, people in other countries can not buy US products because they are facing massive unemployment and reduced incomes. And visa versa, of course.
We live in a global economy where our economies depend very heavily on other economies, and I think a lot of Americans lining up to blame their president fail to understand that.
