I have no intention of discussing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
I only want to share an article that appeared recently in the Los Angeles Times.
It is an opinion piece by Dan Schnur, a local Jewish-American leader.
*****
I was fascinated by these words from Mr. Schnur:
"For Israel to survive, countries other than the U.S. must stand with her."
He explains: "Until the Trump administration reverses the evisceration of the State Department's career officers, Israel will grow only more isolated and more endangered."
*****
Mr. Schnur also explains why he feels that the Democratic party may eventually lessen its support for Israel.
(I'm computer illiterate, so I cannot link. Just google "The best thing Trump could do for Israel is grow up.")
