NRATV appears to have signed off for good. According to a New York Times report, the NRA has shut down operations at the controversial internet video network amid a bitter legal battle with Ackerman McQueen, the ad firm responsible for the programming.

Going back to the 1960s.....I belonged to a local "Sportsman's Club" that had a loose tie to The NRA. A mysterious fire burned down the lodge and it was impossible to get a building permit from the newly-elected ultra-lib Town Council. I shortly thereafter moved away to a more law abiding state so lost track of whether that was any further resolved. Town fire chief tried to blame it on a lightning strike on a cloudless night.
