Judge rules Police Departments in North Carolina are classified as private entities and NOT connected to the state of North Carolina: What does this mean? It means that Police can't abuse you or take away your rights and then seek cover and immunity because they were "in the performance of their duties". Get clubbed, get tazed, be unlawfully searched like at those random highway checkpoints, and you'll be able to sue that Officer in Court. Hey, I know you support Law Enforcement, they keep us safe, or they're supposed to. But as America slides into a Police State you need to know that you aren't just a "subject" to be pushed around.
They will just have no police! Like Los Angeles had to disband the Anti Gang Task Force because of draconian financial disclosure rules.
Stupid Judges are going to ensure that "most" police departments disband. Then I guess it will be local gangs that do the enforcing of what ever laws they want.
