I've lived in both. Both have drawbacks, but overall California with fires all summer, floods & mudslides all winter, and earthquakes coming with no warning, wins the booby prize. There is also the freezing-cold ocean & bay water in California. Florida has great beaches with nice warm water, and mild surf.

In my seven decades of living in Florida I have met an untold number of people from "upnorth". All I ever hear are complaints about the heat, humidity and bugs.

They come here because they are running away from all the things that the Democrats screw up High taxes, crime, lack of liberty and wokeness.

Florida isn't perfect but it is a lot better than Commie states like New York or California.

DeSantis is doing a great job making Florida free. That is why we have so many people moving here. The Democrats are doing a great job turning California into an unliveable Socialist Shithole. That is why they have so many people leaving.

Newsome showed up at the white house a month or so ago while Biden was gone. Bet he was meeting with Obama at the white house. NOT even democrats want Biden to run. NOR Harris.
