No Cheating......

Think about the 10 commandments. How many of them can you recite?

Thout Shalt Not Covet Your Neighbors Wife - that's the only one, and I think its a commandment.

Depends on your version of the bible for the wording but that's one of the ten.
I've done that quite a lot.
Someone over here once asked what I was like when I was a Christian.
I told the truth and they replied, "You've stolen a man's wife?".
"no", said I, "just borrowed".

He seemed quite shocked - no clue why :D

PS - I'm a good boy now.

That's funny. :)
If the ten commandments inspire a higher level of consciousness in mankind, should we really rush to hide them from view?
Obama said he loved to hear the mosque bells calling Muslims to prayer. That sound produced a positive response for him. Is seeing the 10 commandments any different? If they inspire goodness, why remove them from our sight?

Jesus added to the list of 10 and if 1 John 4:21 is all we ever learn, it is all we'll ever need. I agree with you.
I was refering to the original 10. What we were given before the arrival of Jesus. In 1 John 5: 3, keeping God's commandants shows our love for God.
With me it's like the seven dwarfs. I know all their names but one usually evades my memory when I try to list them.

I don't see Him as adding.
Merely giving the 'crib note's version of the original 10.

If you follow His 2, you won't have to worry about remembering the other 10
