But....

I think that a nationality flag that is not controlled by an individual is needed. It's assigned by the server (IAP) that you post from. Then there's still anonymity but your nationality and agenda is obvious to all.

And I would tend to agree that a privately owned platform is not subject to "free speech" as it is a "club" of individuals who can behave as the group allows.

However.....

The Federal Government has gotten involved and provided these huge Social Media platforms protections from lawsuit provided that they only limit speech and media that conforms within particular decency standards as mandated by law....(iOW no child porn or other equally offensive/illegal content)
But the laws of protection are clear that they are a platform and to not be publishers.

And EVERY Social Media platform has violated this pact in spirit and truth by editing political speech and promoting obvious foreign malicious political propaganda. And this sort of interference was chiefly responsible for the overthrown government of Maldovia. (Possibly the USA too if things continue)
Congress held hearings on this very matter but did nothing and recommended nothing as EVERY Congress person in the hearings owned millions of dollars worth of Social Media stocks in their personal portfolio.

Elon Musk has broadcast that Twitter and the FBI and White House spokesman were actively working together to silence Republicans but promote Democrats. IOW publishing instead of being a platform and limiting free speech.
