Sorry Flopper, it not "just" a cleansing- it's an awakening. Conservatives need to stop compromising and stick to their principles. If the ones we've elected won't do it, we'll replace them until we find people that will.
You may not have a Party by then.
You don't really think anyone really believes you care whether the Republicans have a party at the end of the year, do you?
They fact that you are encouraging us not to do this, says we should.
Yeah...Mitch isn't in any trouble in Kentucky. He's a pretty dependable conservative...other than a couple mistakes like supporting ethanol. And since Kentucky is an agriculture state...it's not going to kill him. Besides, I have a feeling he'll retire as soon as he's sure republicans have a solid replacement for him or clear majority in the senate anyway. He's a good soldier!
By the way, we just had our primary here in Kentucky today. Romney won with 66% of the republican vote. We do not have open voting. Have to vote the way you register.
Anyway Romney got 66% and the other 34% was spread out among Newt, Paul and the rest.
Interestingly, the democrat presidential primary was held here today as well. What's interesting is that although more than twice as many new republicans registered to vote than new democrats in Kentucky this year, about 20% more democrats turned out to vote than republicans in the primary today.
What is REALLY interesting is that Obama...just BARLEY won even though he was running unopposed!!!
We Liberals judge people on their actions, not their words.Wingnuts like to talk a good story, and some of them probably even believe their own twisted fantascies. Here is a good example:
The Conservative Fantasy History of Civil Rights
Kinda like the History Of The Democrats And The KKK
I'll have those ******* voting Democratic for the next 200 years!
There's the Kentucky stupid - you can't keep it under control for long.Want to know something about civil rights? Here is all you need to know. Abraham Lincoln....REPUBLICAN! Dr. Martin Luther King.....REPUBLICAN! Strom Thurmond...DEMOCRAT!!!Wingnuts like to talk a good story, and some of them probably even believe their own twisted fantascies. Here is a good example:

But hey, never let the facts get in the way of a good story....right?
You tried to debate a retard.Perhaps you didn't see the part of my post in which I say "I can only assume."
.
Anyone reading your post knows you are being intellectually dishonest on the goal of 'Tea Pariters.'
Okay. I tried!
.
Oh man...you really put me in my place! There's the Kentucky stupid - you can't keep it under control for long.Want to know something about civil rights? Here is all you need to know. Abraham Lincoln....REPUBLICAN! Dr. Martin Luther King.....REPUBLICAN! Strom Thurmond...DEMOCRAT!!!

Uh...once again, I've been thoroughly rebuffed. I knew my dyslexia would come back to wreck my life one of these days. Just didn't know it would be so public. Way to go!...By the way, we just had our primary here in Kentucky today. Romney won with 66% of the republican vote. We do not have open voting. Have to vote the way you register.

Because even people in Kentucky know to vote for the obvious winner!

But what about the other grains?
Just more right wing cleansing.
Sorry Flopper, it not "just" a cleansing- it's an awakening. Conservatives need to stop compromising and stick to their principles. If the ones we've elected won't do it, we'll replace them until we find people that will.
Exclusion of those with differing opinions may make the party more ideological pure and more focused but it also excludes voters with differing opinions. As Democrats try to become more inclusive and Republicans try to become more exclusive, it's pretty easy to see where things are going.Just more right wing cleansing.

I can only assume that the ultimate goal of Tea Partiers is to essentially shut down the functionality of the federal government by promoting and achieving an even wider chasm between the GOP and the Democrats. When both parties commit to "sticking to their principles" 100%, that will essentially bring the government to a grinding halt. Taxes will remain where they are, funding stops, everything stops.
Okay, I guess that's a plan, but both parties will have to answer to the outcome.

By that standard, LBJ stands tall.
Wingnuts judge people by their words, which have no relationship to their actions.
Words like:
Liberty - warrantless wiretapping -USAPATRIOT Act, FISA and NDAA are alive and well with Boiking at the helm.
Freedom - free-speech zones -Those have been in full operation outside the DNC as well.
Capitalism - rigged markets and bailouts-GM, Chrysler, Solyndra, Sun Power, GE....
Service - draft-dodgers and champagne units -You mean like the one Algore served in?
Just more right wing cleansing.

To them it's cleansing.....to us it's getting rid of the posers.
It's impossible to get anything done when the Dems put RINOs everywhere that undermine the party.
Yeah sure...Exclusion of those with differing opinions may make the party more ideological pure and more focused but it also excludes voters with differing opinions. As Democrats try to become more inclusive and Republicans try to become more exclusive, it's pretty easy to see where things are going.Just more right wing cleansing.

You sure have a short memory- 2010 was a landslide. 2012 is shaping up to be another very good year for the Tea Party as well.
A party of Teetledums and Tweetledees purged of dissenters and moderates will only radicalize the party in the minds of voters.Just more right wing cleansing.

Best get that plank out of your eye, Bubba.
