If Facebook, a private company, wants to shut down a hate forum being hosted on its platform, they have every right to.

I'm sorry, but why should anything be banned from consideration? What if people started lobbying to ban the New York Times from certain cities and venues? What if someone decided to ban all liberal speakers and content at UC Berkeley? Aren't people entitle to see the full spectrum of opinion that is out there and be trusted to make up their own minds what to read? If Infowars is so bad, why can't social media simply create a special place where all such controversial or hate-speech content be relegated?

The problem here is that certain things like Google and Facebook are so large and widely used, that much like the telephone company, they are almost like a public trust. No one entity, be it Google, Facebook or even the government can be allowed to have such absolute power in controlling what people read.
