My cousin Jesse and I flew paper airplanes off of the roof of the South Tower in the summer of 1976 ( My uncle worked on the 86th floor so we would go out the stairwell door - there were no cameras or alarms back then.) The Bicentennial fireworks were incredible .

yes 42 on the west side was full of porno you could stop in bryant park cop drugs and take a leak ...today bryant park where you can now kick back and have a cocktail at the bar in the park .

heavy industry split New York new jersey and new england in the 60 and 70's their was still textiles and other industries still hanging in there but a lot of them are gone everything went south before it went overseas

. till the late 90 early 00 speaking of Massachusetts i know fall river well their were mills still there small independent upstate in towns like Newburg and Poughkeepsie .......in jersey
