Wild speculation. Gaddafi had no history of killing his own people and he had very good relationships with his neighbors in the region. Also,Saddam Hussein actually did all the things you claimed Gaddafi was about to do. Yet most Left/Democrats wanted Bush's head over that war. So the Iraq War cheerleaders at least had a bit of an argument for getting rid of him. And Bush did go to Congress for approval and he got it. Starting wars because of things you think will happen in the future is just wrong. This Libyan War was illegal. We had no business getting involved with their Civil War. We have enough problems right here at home. We can't afford to spend more money & lives on interventions that are none of our business. It's time to change our failed foreign policy.
