Hey guys!

My name's Lexi! I'm a transgirl, libertarian, and I enjoy listening to heavy metal, reading military history, and I enjoy discussing all sorts of topics.

I firmly believe the USA must be proactive, and her citizens should not rely on the government to care for them (although, when programs exist, I'll take advantage of them...I'm pragmatic). I'd love to serve in our military, though being trans I'm banned from service. :( I'd love to be a USA or USMC Armor or Field Artillery Officer.

My heros are Generalfeldmarschall Erwin Rommel, Winston Churchill, and George Washington. I'm also inspired by Vivien Thomas and Ben Carson.

Currently, I'm training to be a hairstylist.

Hello Lexi, :D

So nice to meet you and am very happy you joined our board. I very much enjoyed your Introduction and hope you can find some fun and stimulating conversations, that will keep you with us.

I've got a pretty thick skin...you have to have one if you're trans, or you won't survive life.

As Gfm. Rommel said "Never fight a battle you won't gain from."

I so wish the Armed Forces would let me serve. I'm sure I'd make an awesome armor or field artillery officer.

Armor breaches fronts, artillery suppresses the enemy, mechanized infantry secures what was taken.

Bombard the enemy position with artillery (airstrikes are an alternative, but are limited by weather, unlike howitzers) to suppress and demoralize them, send the armor in to breach their line, immediately followed by mechanized infantry to secure what was captured.

Current air mission capability is not hindered by weather.

Thanks, but there's still things like fuel, needing an airstrip, etc. Helicopters can solve the airstrip issue, but you still need to return to base for fuel.

Artillery can just drive or be towed into position, and as long as ammo is available, bombard the enemy until the cows come home.

IMHO, artillery is the most cost-efficient way of enemy suppression and demoralization. Trying to use your air force to do the job of your field artillery just adds cost and complexity to the mission.

If for some reason you can't use artillery to neutralize a target, then by all means use the air force. But don't call in the air force just because it's there.

Air forces should do mass carpet bombing and aerial recon. Leave artillery to blow things up and provide suppression.

Do mules still pull the M777 out to it's fire location?
The counter battery would be a strategic problem because of signature detection, the HIMARS 1 is better at avoiding counter battery by the allusive signature detection ability.
Although my specialty was the TOW missile system

No, its trucks now. Or helicopters.

Air forces should only do recon and mass carpet bombing. Air calvary should only do recon. An M777 is much cheaper than a Warthog and everything associated with it, and can be sited a good ways away from the unit they're providing fire support for.

As Napoleon said "Artillery is the King of Battle."

I've always considered myself an interesting person with interesting heros. LOL, I'm a shemale who idolizes a "Nazi" tank commander!

Rommel was an old school Wiemar soldier, he was tied to an assassination plot against a Nazi called Hitler.

I know! Hence the quotation marks. Why we never tried to get him to defect, I don't know. Hitler really screwed him over in North Africa.

TV's that claim to be straight should never talk about men screwing men.
Or are you a TS that's a lesbian?

I'm a lezzie! Girls (trans and cis) for love, men for cash.

Very odd. Something's off here. Just my opinion. You referred to yourself as a "shemale." That's derogatory, or so I thought. And you've just told us you're a prostitute. Hmmm.

I use that term very occasionally, but only for myself, no-one else. If anyone else calls me that, I punch them. And I was a prostitute for a short while (fell on really hard times).

Welcome to the forums Lexi. It's a place for thick skin and I hope you can give as good as you get.

Something tells me you're going to do fine. I'm intuitive, like that.

Had Rommel been in charge, WWII might have had a very different ending. Brilliant man.

So, do you have a lot of assault convictions? Just saying. You can't haul off and punch people just for calling you a name.

No, I have never hit someone. When someone calls me that, I just laugh and say "Oh, you know that word? Who's your favorite? Domino Presley, Morgan Bailey, Eva Lin?" They usually run away after that. Shemale is exclusively a porn term.

Why would I waste my energy on such idiots?

I pass pretty well, so I rarely get clocked. If I do, "Congratulations, you noticed. Want a cookie?"
