NEW: Jack Smith desperate to prevent the public from learning about the deep bias of DC jury pool.

"This is why the case should be dropped. The jury will be probably 99% anti-Trump liberals."

I'm not so sure.

But, on a larger view, for an accused felon who nurtured a self-manufactured reputation as "hiring only the best people"....well, Don Trump seemingly didn't hire criminal defense attorneys who understand voir dire, or...possibly....the poster MAGAMan has never heard of the term, the practice, and its crucial role in trials.

Ps....it is what competent defense attorneys are supposed to do.

Voir dire (/ˈvwɑːr dɪər/; often /vɔɪr daɪər/; from an Anglo-Norman term in common law meaning "to speak the truth") is a legal term for procedures during a trial that help a judge decide certain issues:

  • Prospective jurors are questioned to decide whether they can be fair and impartial.
  • Witnesses are questioned to decide their competence to testify..
