Bullshit. He wasn't an informer and it's very unlikely he was blackmailing anyone.

Informer: He is hiding something about his years at Bear Stearns and why he left. But it wasn't until 2008 when he flipped and became a “key federal witness against two hedge fund managers". Had he been an informant already, the Feds would have already had the info on the hedge fund managers.

Blackmail: that should be obvious. You've spent your entire life building a billion dollar or multi billion dollar empire when one day you take a trip to pedo island, have sex with underaged girls, and now you're being blackmailed. Do you:

a) cave and sign over control of 1 billion to your blackmailer? (or on the case of Wexner, sign over control of your entire empire?)

b) not only that but continue visiting pedo island and that manhattan townhouse so your blackmailer can gather even more material against you? I mean, heck, you're busted, right? Might as well have some fun

c) have that blackmailer assassinated. This is the British Royal family who allegedly had Diana offed but they can't handle some creepy pedo American? Or what about the Cllintons? Do you really think Hillary would sit back and allow anyone to blackmail Bill? Not only that but go along on a visit to pedo island herself? Why would so many of them return over and over again if they're being blackmailed?

I do think there's something very shady going on besides underage sex trafficking and it's very likely Wexner is or was behind it.
