Texas ‘faithless elector’ Stephen ‘Chris’ Suprun is not only lying about being a 9/11 Pentagon first responder, he is also lying about his law enforcement service.
Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA first exposed Suprun’s 9/11 stolen valor in their comprehensive report.
As I began to dig deeper into Suprun’s background alongside Rob O’Donnell, a close friend and retired NYPD homicide detective, we discovered that Suprun’s fraudulent claims extended into law enforcement.
On his LinkedIn resume, Suprun takes credit as a founding member of the Manassas Park, Virginia, Police Department S.W.A.T. team.
We spoke with Assistant Chief & Special Operations Commander Trevor Reinhart of the Manassas Park, VA Police Department.
Chief Reinhart informed us that Suprun had no hand in the creation of their S.W.A.T. team, has never been a part of that department or their special operations division, nor does anyone there even know who Suprun is.
Chief Reinhart was disturbed by Suprun’s claims, and the agency is now investigating.
Suprun continues his September 11th fraud through the Never Forget Foundation, a 501(c) (3), and the Never Forget 9/11 PAC.
In what appears to be another attempt to deceive donors, there is a button on the website footer of The Never Forget Foundation which reads,
“FINANCIALS
Due to the size of our organization, we are compliant with Internal Revenue Service rules by filing Form 990-N, found here.”
However, the link does not send you to the IRS website nor does it even provide access to the actual filing, but instead lands on a page within the foundation’s website deceptively designed to look like an official IRS page. While the copy on the site seems to imply a large and influential organization, quite the opposite is true.
Actual IRS filings for the Never Forget Foundation are unimpressive and submitted on the simple Form 990-N (e-Postcard) used by those organizations whose annual gross receipts are $50,000 or less.
Suprun’s involvement in the Never Forget 9/11 PAC appears even more dubious. According to the FEC the PAC was created in March 2015 by a Kathryn Morales, yet uses the e mail address and P.O. Box of Suprun’s Never Forget Foundation, a 501(c)(3).
