On a hill
First episode... pretty solid.
Second episode... little slow and not well directed
Third episode... as good as the first. Sometimes shows have multiple directors in episodes, maybe this one is too.

Anyhow... pretty decent. Basic storyline is a prominent member of the British parliament, and the best friend of the Prime Minister is caught having an affair with a young staff member.
That is bad. But wait... it's worse... she now claims he raped her with some seemingly damning evidence... oh wait.. another woman steps in and makes claims.
Half courtroom drama, half drama of a family having to deal with enormous pressure, embarrassment, and of course a tremendous strain on the marriage.
But the defense puts on a good defense, seemingly disputing her claims.

Is he guilty... keep watching to find out.

Saw the first episode and liked it and like you though the second was slow and not very interesting. So I dropped. Maybe it will be worth taking another look.

4th episode... sigh... still going to finish, unless it gets worse, but it is getting a little on the man hating - women are all victims thing.

Example - wife telling their nanny that she appreciates her staying for the children under the circumstances. She asked the girl if she thinks her husband is a good man, the girl hesitates, the wife said 'yes he had an affair but do you still think he is a good man"... the girl replies "well he is a man so".
Add about 5 more instances of referencing men as pigs by stellar women above reproach and you will get the episode.

5th Episode did not have the "men hating" in it like Ep 4.
Thankfully.
And there is a twist... last episode coming up.

Oh that is just infuriating.
What a crock.
The last episode revealed the intent of the whole damned series.
Women are all victims of the toxic male patriarchy.
As you could see in the post about Episode 3, I suspected it. It was getting a little anti-male..
Well the final episode was the most unrealistic absurdity on every level.
It insults your intelligence, and if you are a man... it insults you as a man.
This must have been written by a feminist who knew no one would read/watch the show if she revealed her intent too soon... just lay it all on them at the end.

So unless you hate men, and think and #believeAllWomen - skip this absurd trash.
