Need help on batteries???

I get it that it converts electricity from chemical power

I don’t get the chemistry ???

So you plug your phone into a wall ??
Electrons flow from the wall into the anode ??

So the anode becomes negative charged ???

Then you got some odd chemical solution then it goes into the cathode ???

I don’t get it

Seems I need help

The anode builds up Electrons from the wall power supply ?
The electrons want to repel and spread out and they do ?

When the atom loses its Electrons it goes to the cathode and becomes positive charged
