The Christian teaching of science requires not only a good command of basic subject matter, but also the spiritual perception to discern truth from error in a great variety of contexts. As a prerequisite for this, the Christian teacher of science must be thoroughly grounded in the Word of God. Moreover, he must have firmly implanted in his mind a biblical framework of truth which serves as the touchstone for his decision making. True science will fit that framework; anything that fails to fit the biblical framework must be rejected as erroneous. The present discussion demonstrates the need for a distinctively Christian philosophy of science teaching and surveys the differences between Christian and secular science education.

Here is a site that lists Christian Colleges and Universities and their degree programs. Check out what's listed under "Science".

Let me point out that this is where many of the Republican "scientists" come from. Republicans get very angry, worse than a shaken beehive when the PEW research poll is brought up showing that a measly 6% of scientists are Republican.

Republicans at the USMB gleefully point out (whether true or not) that the right is receiving many more degrees than those on the left. The question becomes, "But what is the quality of that education?"
A few areas of science not listed as available:
Evolution
Evolutionary biology
evolution of disease
geology
Plate tectonics
Evolution of star systems
Astronomy
How one "liberal" University describes a very small part of it's "science" program:
The theory of evolution provides a coherent explanation for all biological phenomena. All of the Faculty in the EEB Department pursue research interests to a greater or lesser extent connected to evolution. A core group of Faculty address evolutionary questions directly, at very different scales of biological organization, and they all use techniques of molecular biology to answer those questions.
------------------------------------------------------------
So if Republicans want to continue to insist that more than 6% of scientists are Republican, then good for them. But let it be known that what makes a "scientist" is generally more than the study of "natural science".
Is there a single sane person in this country that would want to go to a doctor that didn't believe in evolution?
