Nationals go back to back jack on Kershaw. It's not over but I don't think the Dodgers expected to be pushed to the brink in this series.

GRAND SLAM KENDRICK IN THE 10TH! Nats lead 7-3 and still NO OUT. Holy cow!
Kershaw has to be snake bit. Great regular seasons and lousy playoffs for him. I wonder if he pushed the manager to let him pitch.
The L.A. manager uses analytics as his way of coaching the team. The Phillies just fired a guy that was pure analytics and worked under the Dodger manager after two years. Baseball coaches can use many things to manage. A gut feeling or the way a player is looking/feeling at the time is part of the menu and that is bypassed.Kershaw has to be snake bit. Great regular seasons and lousy playoffs for him. I wonder if he pushed the manager to let him pitch.
the thing that really sucks for him is he SHOULD have a world series ring from a couple of years ago and would if not for the manager.Kershaw said he was available and find on three days rest for game 7 of the world series but that idiot manager started someone else and he gave up like 6 runs in 4 innings and the dodgers lost only scoring like 3 runs. after that starter gave up those 6 runs,he then yanked him in the fourth inning and brought in kershaw who mowed them all down and did not give up a run the entire game but by that time,it was too late for the dodgers cause the damage had already been done.
if kershaw gets the start of that game, the way he was in a zone that night,he would have pitched a shut out and the dodgers would have won another world series.
that manager had to be paid off,its the only thing that makes any sense based on all the facts that we knew kershaw felt fine pitching and demonstrated that on the mound.
Nats may be that rare Cinderella team to win it all.
2016 Cubs, 1997 and 2003 Marlins come to mind.
