Don't you think the Indians were acting in self-defense for the most part... I know if that shit happened to me I'd be liable to scalp some mother fuckers too.
Any situation where Indians went into settlements and massacred every living person there... men, women and children, was a situation where they were not acting in self defense. That is offensive behavior, not defensive. If that happened to a neighborhood near you, you would go fucking apeshit and youd want every indian in the area to be destroyed so it wouldnt happen to YOUR neighborhood next time.
Want EVERY Indian destroyed? Isn't that the exact same overreaction they committed? Not all White people killed Indians, and not all Indians wanted to kill innocent White people. The problem was that (on both sides) one Indian or White person killing one of the other race led to a desire to kill ALL whites or all Indians.
We didnt kill every indian, in fact they are doing well on the reservations today. The money they generate from the Casinos is making all of them rich. Most of the indian population died because of small pox, and if you think we spread the small pox to them through blankets, you dont know the true history of indians and small pox.
Theres no proof that white men gave small pox infested blankets to them even a single time. That was simply rumors spread by indian sympathizers, based on some obscure mention of blankets in a low rankings soldiers diary from the time. You should go read up on the supposed evidence that says white people did this. Im certain that you will see that its based on nothing, and its not even realistic that it happened for many other reasons, including the fact that people werent aware of how disease was spread back in the day, so they wouldnt know to use blankets. You can also ask a disease expert today about the likelihood of catching small pox from using a blanket with small pox in it. Its near impossible.
