It seems economic impact of these policies are not usually considered, or even calculated in the least.

To what IMPACT will the gas stove ban "save the planet"?

Can it even be empirically proven that banning gas stoves will "save the planet"?

Seems like a play to sell more electric stoves. How about the carbon impact of manufacturing new electric stoves to replace gas stoves? What about the solid waste of the trashed gas stoves?

Do a new build, then when you move in, install gas. We have mains gas and Calor gas in the UK. Calor gas is stored in a tank, just plumb it in later, just put the ducting in place when building the property.

They're wanting an EV charge point installed on every new build in the UK. So when I build and it's signed off, the charger will be put in the bin.

Hey dumb ass, you can't get a tax break if you don't pay taxes. The rich folks pay 90+% of all federal income taxes.

And those programs are too expensive, they eat up 70+% of the federal budget. They will eventually destroy the country. Also you forgot CHIPS and maobamacare. At a minimum they will have to be reworked or your share (taxes) will have to go up significantly.

Nobody in the USA wants those tanks. We have pipes from the Gas company right into the house pressurized.

They want to screw with that too? We have Gas heater, water heater and stove with pipe to backyard for BBQ. Many have Gas Firepits too.
