This is a terrorism-sonnet in honor of 9/11.

Narayan, the Hindu god, wanted to instruct the world about etiquette and its opposite --- terrorism. Terrorism was the failure of friendship when politics gave way to unchecked wrath. Terrorism branched out even from simple values flaws such as domestic abuse and alcoholism. Narayan wanted to address the new super-terrorist organization known as Cobra.
America's secret/elite unit of paramilitary crusaders known as 'G.I. Joes' were making holiday-season patriotism posters about U.S. forces dealing with Cobra terrorists. These posters featured a visage of the terrifying Cobra Commander, a pure anarchist who wore a leather-sack mask and ominous leather gloves. His mask had a cobra-snake insignia to reflect his intentions to create slithering venom across the Earth.
NARAYAN: Are you an enemy of basic trust?
COBRA COMMANDER: I believe in making things complex!
NARAYAN: What about the simple joys of religion?
COBRA COMMANDER: There is no God when there is no revolution!
NARAYAN: It seems commerce makes much room for customs/peace.
COBRA COMMANDER: Consumerism is another form of avarice...
NARAYAN: So you're suggesting that people are unfaithful to philosophy?
COBRA COMMANDER: It seems that terrorism is an expression of poverty.
NARAYAN: Why then is violence so hideous?
COBRA COMMANDER: Reform can be very painful...
NARAYAN: Are you a fan of Gandhi and Malcolm X?
COBRA COMMANDER: I prefer Charles Manson and Satan.
NARAYAN: So you believe in complete subversion.
COBRA COMMANDER: Subversiveness is the key to real sentiment!
NARAYAN: It seems to me that capitalism leaves adequate space for imagination.
COBRA COMMANDER: So, you're some kind of Burger King priest?
NARAYAN: There's something very 'clean' about Hallmark cards...
COBRA COMMANDER: If consumerism yields simple joys, terrorism will diminish.
NARAYAN: In that case, this is really a tribulation regarding mercantile quality!
COBRA COMMANDER: Commerce will always create 'aesthetics-intrigue.'
