Swift Boat Veterans for Truth expose Kerry's lies

By Judson Cox

Thanks to the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, Kerry has been forced to admit that he was not in Cambodia on Christmas of 1968, and that in the incident during which he won his Bronze Star, he did indeed flee down river. Previously, Kerry maintained that all of the Swift boats fled except for his. He still claims that he was in Cambodia at some point during his four month tour of duty, but not even one of his "band of brothers" will confirm this story. As Van Odell said during our recent interview, "This is the second lie he is admitting and I think his house of cards is starting to fall."

Kerry's operatives have tried to smear the Swift Boat Veterans in innumerable ways. They have made public their credit histories and divorce records. They have published off color jokes taken from private correspondence. The have disputed their service, impugned their motives, claimed that the doctor who treated Kerry for his first Purple Heart is not really a doctor, and called them liars. At least they haven't called the Swift Boat Veterans bimbos, or accused them of stalking Sen. Kerry, as they maligned the many women Clinton assaulted.

Sixty Swift Boat Veterans who served with John Kerry in Vietnam, on his boat or in close proximity to him, dispute his account of his service. In answer, the Kerry campaign can only produce a few records taken from John Kerry's own reports and an eight member "band of brothers." Even Jim Rassman, who says that John Kerry valorously saved his life while under hostile fire, is a poor witness. Rassman was blown off his boat by a mine. He was in the water, probably in shock, and hearing hundreds of rounds of suppression fire from the swift boats toward an absent enemy. His recently conflicting accounts show that he doesn't even remember which boat he was on. Rassman is hardly a credible witness.

The new advertisement by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth makes a very important point. When John Kerry returned home, he teamed up with Jane Fonda to give aid and comfort to our enemies. Kerry and Fonda engaged in the infamous "Winter Soldier Investigation," in which several supposed Vietnam veterans came forward to tell tales of the atrocities they were ordered to commit. It was later proven that few of these "veterans" actually served in Vietnam, that the few who did lied about their ranks, and that none of these atrocities and war crimes ever happened.

Kerry then testified before Congress:

They told the stories at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war...

The Vietcong were desperate to have such statements by American soldiers to use as propaganda. As prisoners of war, our soldiers withstood torture to keep the enemy from having this weapon. John Kerry showed no hesitation to aide the enemy by propagating such lies. According to John McCain, transcripts of Kerry's testimony were used to demoralize American prisoners.

comment from Jeremiah*

Kerry was a great help to the Vietcong - the enemy - this is the kind of man Obama has chosen to replace Clinton. A professional liar and ally to Americas enemies. What a disgrace, even his own fellow soldiers could not stand the sight of him. He is a traitor. He has earned in spades the name Hanoi John right beside his "Hanoi Jane".

So your saying, what? He wasn't in Cambodia?

You do know why that was "offensive" at the time, right?

Or do you?

And you are saying there were no atrocities in Vietnam?

Really?

How did those 2 million people die?

And would you have cared more if they were fetuses?

Yes, he was exposed as a bold faced liar. You'd think he would be too embarrassed to ever show his face again but these progressive communists have no shame.

Yes, these are the same people who will murder 50 million babies in America abortion clinics through genocide makers - Planned Parenthood - sit down at their dinner table each night - wipe their mouths and say mudering 50 million babies? What's wrong with that?

Looks like Sallow got out of the kitchen. The typical response of a progressive liberal. Cut and run.

I doubt they could hit the side of a barn. I wouldn't worry about the North Koreans. I'd be worried about the Russians who have a treaty with Iranians called "Grand Design". The Russians have never dropped their ambition to strike America - nuclear - they are closer to it right now than they have ever been. We need to be focused on the Russians, not the NK. Obama has allowed their troops indefinite stay on American soil, he compromised our security by showing the Russians where our nuclear missile sites are at ( Hillary tour ) and when the Russian spies were discovered recently he released them all back to Russia within 2 weeks ( he commited treason by aiding and abetting the enemy on that one ) and he also gave the Russians the grand tour of NORAD after Putin asked for it. Obama is a traitor and will be remembered as the president who wasn't protecting America - and is responsible for America being hit by Russian nukes. Wait and see. Just wait and see.

"Was he wrong about that?

Some 2 million Vietnamese died because of America's actions.

What happened to them, exactly?"

"Wait, so you agree he's a War Criminal?"

Well, perhaps that's relative. Compared to Nixon, Kissinger, Reagan, 'W' and many others, he's just a piker.

If North Korea invades South Korea; if North Korea bombs Hawaii with a nuclear bomb, Kim Jong Un is secure in the knowledge that obama will do nothing except scowl.

"Sixty Swift Boat Veterans who served with John Kerry in Vietnam, on his boat or in close proximity to him, dispute his account of his service. "

This is a baldfaced lie.

The Swift Boat Veterans for "truth" didn't even have 60 guys who so much as saw Kerry in Vietnam, much less serve on boats close to him.

The truth is, only one guy who served on his boat (as a crew member) was a member of the organization. (I differentiate the crew members from those who were not on his crew, but were on his boat for a few missions. All of those guys -- perhaps 6-7 -- did NOT join the SBV"t").

As far as guys serving on boats in close proximity to Kerry's, I would estimate that number at around 15.

It's hard to tell whether people are not interested in this story because it seems to have happened so many times in the past without ever leading to war, or just because it is hard to blame Obama for it.

At least Clueless Frank does his best to make it America's fault here, but he can only do so much.

My major concern is that in the event of NK firing as much as an arrow at Hawaii, Obama would be obliged to turn it into a carpark, but without damaging a lightbulb in South Korea. It's an impossible task. I also worry about the loss ov civilian life in NK, when the people can hardly be blamed for their own government's ineptitude.

Right. No more than the people of Japan could be blamed for believing thier emperor was divine or the Germans believed Hitler should have been turned loose on the world or the Iranians believe that thier muslim leaders are infallable.

Bomb them NOW. No more discussion.

Using that analogy, then certainly the US deserves a good bombing for electing obama.

Given most people on this board are American, it's worth us non-Americans sbowing a little respect.

I don't like to see you blatantly anti-American attacks here day after day and I'm not American!
