The water DOWNRIVER from the Hanford site is considered safe for standard water treatment (at the city intake area in North Richland) for potable use and wastewater is considered clean enough for discharge back into the river at the South side of the Yakima River at the Wastewater Treatment plant,

The RAW river water at the North Richland intake area next to Leslie Groves Park is safe for irrigation use on a 28 acre site that is heavily attended by the public including a swimming area along the river bank for the public to use

Now you are just running off the rails with nonsense since the State and Feds have been monitoring the situation for decades now and still to this day have placed zero restrictions on the use of Columbia river water for irrigation and potable water.

FlaCalTenn and myself posted links showing that the waste is there and being monitored 24/7 while trying hard to clean up the Nuclear reservation and watching the "plume" of underground waste slowly flowing towards the river which is being physically addressed.

It isn't getting worse it is getting better as the clean up has been ongoing for many years now but always dependent on governmental funding which the Biden administration is proposing CUTS to the clean up budget.

Do you have anything to challenge either of these points:

1) Human combustion of fossil fuels since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution is entirely responsible for the increased levels of CO2 in Earth's atmosphere.

Not sure about "entirely", but certainly measurably. We even see it reflected in stable isotope values (13-C/12-C ratios showing steady depletion of 13-C which is exactly what one would expect from the burning of fossil and vegetal fuels.

And the 14-C levels have apparently dropped as well (at least prior to massive atmospheric testing of nukes which kind of messed up the measurements). Depletion of 14-C in atmospheric CO2 would be expected if the increase was coming from fossil fuels as well.

It's really pretty cool when science works as advertised.

You seem to be relatively weak at defending your point if you simply ignore someone who mildly pushes back. I've never worked with a chemical engineer who seemed to lack basic skills like that. And I've probably worked with more chemE's than you have.
