But clearly, in 1945, without required imports, they would have done so.

on the western side. The Eastern side was still at this time, mostly open waters.
Before the bombs were dropped. They had no large ships at this point, or airlift fleet.
They had small crafts Plus, at this point, we were starting the YUGE Fire Storms
campaign on their mostly paper/wood homes. Mass murdering civilians again.. Killing mostly
civilians Women and
children.

AFTER 2 A-bombs had just wiped out 2 cities in seconds--they were STILL not surrendering!!
