Six of the last 10 governors (including hte present one) have been Republicans.
Three of the past 4 senators from Class I (including the present one) are Republicans.
And prior to Reid, Paul Laxalt was the other senator for 13 years.

Eleven Democrats and 10 Republicans in the state senate.
Twenty six Democrats and 15 Republicans in the House.


That hardly constitutes a "Democratic stronghold."

I live in south carolina and love it. Most of the people i meet are from liberal northern states and they love it also. The high crime areas are mostly minority sections of our state. That would be the welfare recieving liberals. You fail again.
