Here's how it's going to play out. SCOTUS will probably ignore the constitution and let Trump stay on the ballot. But the whole controversy will remind people of why Trump is unfit to start with.

Then Trump will spend most of the year in court, reminding us again why he is unfit. It's very likely he'll be convicted of some of the charges.

But at the end of the day, he'll lose because far more people dislike him than like him.
