By the way, ya'll all realize that Cumulus simply was not willing to give up that cash cow and caved in and gave Rush the contract he demanded to stay on Cumulus stations? I believe Rush did leave one Cumulus station in New York City and moved to a more profitable Clear Channel station, but that was it. He still remains No. 1 in all radio markets eclipsing anything or anybody other stations put up against him.

As for his marching orders, nobody has ever looked to Rush for marching orders. If they had, Clinton would not have been elected twice, and Obama sure as hell would not hav been elected twice. But his audience remains steady because he is so well researched and informative that he sends people looking for information to educate themselves. Which is why the occasional polls consistently show that his audience is better informed than any others.

As suggested in that same link, I would suggest that you lefties keep up the hate speech re Rush. It is helping keep his ratings up. And that only means more people will be informed of what is going on.

Nope. We didn't. Air America was a joke because it was all finger pointing, criticism, and whining with no substance. Leftwingers want to characterize Limbaugh and others as that, but conservative talk radio is loaded with substance. Conservative talk radio discusses concepts, principles, and the realities of implemented policy. Yes it is highly critical of many leftist figures, but it includes so much substance in addition to that so that the criticism is almost coincidental. Air America had little to say other than criticism of the right and that becomes boring as hell even to leftwingers after so long.

So, conservative talk radio keeps its audience who demand substance and thrives because advertisers go after that audience.

Air America couldn't attract enough audience to attract advertisers, and even its most passionate supporters like George Soros eventually got tired of wasting their money to keep it afloat. So it failed.

As far as the bullshit that the Pew study cited in your link shows that his misinformed audience is better informed than ANY other audience, it is a perfect example of how the Right changes everything they pretend to quote. The Pew study showed your MessiahRushie's audience beaten by The New Yorker, Atlantic Mag,NPR, Hardball and others.

So this is a good lesson, when the Right are not outright lying, they are exaggerating to the extreme.
