More Proof if God Exists He Is an Imbecille: He asked Bill O'Reilly...to write a book about Jesus?

Serioulsy folks, this one time favorite of white, rightwing America is now saying God told him to write a book about the historical jesus...it's probably going to be one page of history and 666 pages of fair and balanced imbecillity

:thewave:
Gotta love the entertainment value of rightwing America...witches and prophets

Just another addition to the vast bibliography of conservative ignorance and stupidity.

One just has to rationaly look at the deity's personality to realize that it is a creation of man.
All powerful, all knowing, perfect....yet....
It's insecure, subject to fits of rage and jealousy, inconsistent and can't forsee actions/events.
As for Jesus, the story of deities mixing with human women and creating offspring who were persecuted, killed and afterward, risen, was going on throughout antiquity, even before the story of Jesus. They just repeated the story again. Jesus was, if he existed at all, the world's first hippie. Instead of calling for war, his character called for peace and love.
O'Reilly's having a number of followers has gone to his head and he just want's to get his followers to purchase anything he writes. It's really about m-o-n-e-y.

What better way for O'Reilly to get a grip than to write about Jesus
and have critics like you point out problems with that, so there is opportunity for growth.

Does an English teacher expect students to learn how to write and analyze
critically WITHOUT writing something? Don't we all learn more in the PROCESS?

Why not with O'Reilly also? Good for him.

P.S. as for my take on Jesus, writing about the meaning of Jesus fulfilling all laws,
secular and sacred, is like describing the process of TRUE and EQUAL JUSTICE
being established among humanity to bring peace on earth. particularly the
movement from "retributive justice" by the letter of the law in the OT
to the spirit of the law or "restorative justice" "justice with mercy/peace" in the NT
which Jesus Christ represents. So it is a worthwhile process to learn study and teach.

Dante your views are just as important as mine or Oreilly's why not cowrite a book? I'd love to hear your perspective on how justice is coming to fruition, which includes us all.
